Course

The start of the course is on Fortfield Rd, at its junction with Fortfield Pk. There will be no parking on Fortfield Rd which will be closed to all traffic in both directions 30 mins prior to the race start. There is a course map and video below.

Lap 1

Runners will proceed in an easterly direction along Fortfield Rd towards Templeogue Rd using the full width of the road.
Turning left onto Templeogue Rd runners will use the LH lane which will be closed to traffic.

At the junction of Templeogue Rd and Terenure Rd West runners will turn sharp left and proceed towards the KCR. Reaching the KCR cross roads participants will turn left into Fortfield Rd and proceed into Wainsfort Rd and continue as far as the Wainsfort roundabout.

Here runners will turn left into Templeville Rd using a dedicated runners lane and proceed along Templeville rd to its junction with Templeogue Rd.

Turning left proceed to the junction with Fortfield Rd. (end of lap 1).

Lap 2

In lap 2 runners again proceed down Templeogue Rd, turning left into Terenure Rd West and left into Fortfield Rd at the KCR. However runners will not go into Wainsfort Rd, instead turning left and follow Fortfield Rd to the finish which is situated approx at the junction with Fortfield Drive. (Adjacent to the rear exit from Terenure College).
